MAS CURATING DEGREE SHOW 2012

Postgraduate Programme in Curating, ZHDK

Because the students of a the curating programme are developing their own curated projects from editions to books, talks and exchange projects, we decided to invite two co-operators to work with us, not on our curated projects but on the theory background, the personal and professional experiences we had during the two years of the program me.

Am 22. Juni 2012 erscheint die erste Ausgabe von Prisma. Prisma # 1 ist ein Künstlerheft, entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit Fabio Marco Pirovino (Zürich/New York). Seine Zeichnungsserie Nineteen eighty eight wirft unter anderem die Frage auf, was es bedeutet, Symbole und Muster sehen, wo andere nur das Universum vor Augen haben. Alle KünstlerInnen veröffentlichen in ihrer Ausgabe ein eigens für Prisma geschaffenes Werk. Bis im März 2013 folgen drei weitere Ausgaben mit Vanessa Piffaretti, Patrick Hari und Esther Ernst.

Take my Crown

Zoe Tempests Fotoserie “Take my Crown” entstand von 2009 bis 2011. Die Fotografin inszenierte ihre Modelle in einem matt ausgeleuchteten Raum mit unscharfen Grenzen und nur angedeutetem Boden. Entstanden ist so eine Serie, die einen zart schwebenden, märchenhaft gleichnishaften Charakter hat.
